Area Object Link is a Lisp application for AutoCAD that will take a selected Pline or Hatch object's Area value and Link the information as a Field to a selected Block Attribute, MText or Text. When the Pline or Hatch object geometry changes, the Linked Area Field value will also update in the Block Attribute, MText or Text object.
